Tournament format, age groups and schedule information
This year's tournament will be held on Columbus Weekend, October 11 and 12, 2008 at Greenvale Park in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Our format remains the same, all games in a division are played in one day at one venue, on one field, no running around town, or running from field to field. Just come and enjoy the day, set up your tents near your field and relax.
Fees: U9 - U11 micro soccer, $390 per team, U12 - U14, $420 per team
General Information: There are actually two one day tournaments, with the Boys U9 through U14 age groups playing on Saturday, October 11, 2008 and the girls from U9 through U14 playing on Sunday, October 12, 2008.
Format: All games for a given team will be played at only one venue, Greenvale Soccer Complex in the Town of Poughkeepsie, NY. Each division of 6 teams will play a round robin of five 28 minute games at one venue on one field. There will be 4 full sized and 3 micro fields at Greenvale. Games are played between 9 am and 6 pm, with teams closest to Poughkeepsie playing the earliest games. First and second place teams for each division are determined by win-loss record, points and tiebreakers (click on "2008 Rules" in the left navigation frame.
Awards:First and second place awards will be given for each group of 6, including when there is more than one group of the same age group. All U9 through U11 players not receiving a first or second place award will receive a participation award.

Makeup day/Refunds: If either day is cancelled (but not both), that day will be made up on Monday October 13. If both days are cancelled, it is unlikey the fields will be playable on Monday so there will be no make up day. In the event either day is cancelled, involved teams will receive a refund of 80% of the entry fee.
